Se reeditan los clásicos de Celtic Frost

Continuando con la campaña de reedición del sello Noise Records, BMG (propietaria de los derechos) rescata los primeros trabajos de una de las bandas más influenciadoras de la historia del metal, Celtic Frost.

Todos los discos que la banda suiza publicó en el siglo XX serán rescatados y reeditados el 30 de junio de 2017, todos menos el bastardísimo Cold Lake que seguirá muerto y enterrado, descatalogado desde hace décadas y del que Tom G. Warrior ha comentado:

“Cold Lake no será reeditado porque es una abominación“

También se edita paralelamente un “grandes éxitos” titulado Innocence and Wrath, en doble CD y con diverso material gráfico. Los discos se reeditan en varias versiones, CD, vinilo y digital (hacer pre-order aquí), y han sido restaurados por V. Santura, tal y como explica Warrior:

“Los discos clásicos recibieron un tratamiento fantástico. Victor (V. Santura), mi compañero de banda en Triptykon, es un excelente ingeniero y pasamos una gran cantidad de tiempo con la restauración de estas canciones, pero sin alterarlas. Restauramos la cinta y lo remasterizamos para que suenen lo más parecido posible a la mezcla original. Hay una gran cantidad de fotografías rescatadas y notas. Hice lo que pude para hacer que valga la pena”.
